Gemini: different pose?

I was thinking about fighting games recently and thought, I might make a character select screen, since I thought it might be fun. Here's a quick look at one of the sketches for it, more to come of course, but Gem is gonna be 1 players choice. I haven't decided on P2 yet tho lol.

Man...Tito can Draw

Just look at this. She drew it in five minutes or so. I don't exactly remember the number, but I know she said it was fast. But Tracy is just amazing. I told her I'd color two of them to prove it lol. And here's the end result. I really do like when she gives me these pretty works to color. They end up looking better than what I could ever have done on my own...and the best part it took me a third, maybe less, of the time to finish than my normal work.

So i broke down and inked it. LOL and now I realize...that I actually like this. I forgot to draw Elena tho, but I don't really know what animal to make her anyways XD

I just love being a Nerd

So here's the image finally finished. I'm pretty proud of myself. I think it's one of my better ones lately. With all this social drawing, I've noticed that I am gettering a bit better. LOL Really, I just love being able to nerd like this. On that note: lol Really, this is what Veil comes home to. It's a wonder why he ever comes back.

Below are my ever present WIP's. I get so excited about my drawing I end up bothering my friends about them before they are done. But atleast after I can show everyone my process. LOL That's something right!?

Chystalin Design

Okay, so I've been making signage for may friends amazing thesis. It's design is based off beer bottle labels with a Celtic knot-work placed into the design. It's supposed to mimic an old world feel, and still contain that irish bar feeling. After seeing the layout of the bar, i saw a reindeer head and incorporated it into the design. It's still there if you look for it, but was mostly taken out due to the fact that it was hideous lol.Originally I had the colors Green and gold in mind since they seem to be the normal bar colors, however, in the film red is a color of importance, so I changed it. I think its actually nicer in red...I'm going to be showing this to her today. I hope she likes it <3

The Making of Lachesis

This guy was actually a hard one. I had to draw him over and over again, just to get him the way I wanted. While normally he's less fuzzy, I kind of decided last minute that I wanted him really inhuman...and he looked so much cuter in the final lol so this is his new design.

The making of Gemini

One of my more shorter characters. I think this is probably the most clean line work I've ever done, but then, I draw her a lot so I am a little familiar with how she works. I still had to adjust some though, since her pose was really strange the first go. After tho, well, it was mostly grunt work. I did get rid of her hat, though it was fabulous. She still wears it, but it was just too much with the eye patch. Now it's either or with her.

The making of Veil

Well, just because a few of my friends and family members said it's interesting to see how I draw, I decided to start putting up the details on how I made some of these pieces....just so everyone can see how many revisions I make lol as well as how lazy I am during the roughs. XD But anyhow, you can see some of the changes I made over time. I had Veil lose some of his height. I changed his wardrobe. My friend Tracy totally fixed him up when I couldn't figure out the arms. She even made some expressions for me. Which helped a lot as well btw, totally just copied the eyebrows when I went in and finally put in his mouth. As you can see I just sort of had a line for where the mouth is supposed to be. (It's still there in the final lol, it's his lip shading) There are alot more subtle chages as well, but really, I don't want to explain them. Anyhow sufficient to say, I have horrible line work...

... but the final came out pretty good ;3; Oh! and Veil...totally owned by my friend Tracy. I just like drawing other peoples characters.

Its's finially finished. Yay. These always take so much longer than I actually think they will.

Just Another WIP

this is one of Lache as human *3* I might not actually ever finish it, but i was really thinking about it since he came out so much cuter than I thought he would. I kept his skin tone that orange-yellow since I like that idea that even when he has a more human form, he's still has some inhuman qualities. Though now that I think about it, most people will think he just has a bad tan. But I sure do love his freckles.

However I am finishing Gem...one day... That said, I never realized how heavy set she was until I put her next to her buddy there. Compared to Lachesis, who's so lanky to start with, I realize she is rather round. v_v
